​Marijuana Use

Young adults were asked about their motivations for marijuana use, lifetime health problems, and concerns related to seeking a medical marijuana recommendation to examine whether young adult medical marijuana patients reported health conditions and motivations for use that were consistent with medical use of marijuana in California.

 Developmental Trajectories of Illicit Use, Prescription Misuse, & Cannabis Practices

​Young adult cannabis users were asked about their past 90-day use of illicit & prescription drugs and their cannabis practices each year for 4 consecutive years (waves) to observe the relationships between longitudinal trends or trajectories over time.

​ Attitudes and Beliefs about Recreational Cannabis Legalization 

Young adults were asked about their attitudes and beliefs towards recreational cannabis legalization after cannabis was legalized for recreational purposes in California in 2016.
